There's a great new place for Bluegrass called the ABH Bluegrass Hideaway at 850 Fitchville Road in New London, Ohio, Fitchville, Township. Open every Friday and Saturday night from 7:00-11:00 PM, approximately ten miles south of Rt. 20 on Fitchville River Road & about two miles north of Junction Rt. 162,250, & 13. For more info call 440-225-5863 or 440-897-1914 They have a nice stage and sound system, plenty of seating and about six jam rooms, I've been there the past two weekends and reccommend it to everyone, no smoking or alchohol and I got to play with a lot of great musicians.

Thanks for the "heads up" John. I live in Bellevue so that's but a stone's throw.
Would ya happen to know Arnie Bates(dobro) and if he has made it there? If not, I'll mention it to him this weekend. Thanks, Mike

Yes, Arnie was at the jam last weekend and we hope to see him more often.

Arnie is a heck of a dobro player. He plays at Marion Senior Center the last Wed. of the month from 1:00 til 3:00 PM. He knows sound too. When you see him, tell him Harold Wren says Hey, would ya? I co-emcee the gig at the Center.

We played here last month and it is a great place for bluegrassers to get together. Check out there schedule and go to a show and see for yourself. Great people, very good food and just a nice place overall. I know this post is an older one but I just wanted to pass it on, we here in Ohio can make this a better place by coming out to watch, pick and have a good time.
